Ugh, you're not pregnant because your parents didn't communicate with you. You're pregnant because you most likely slept through your sex-ed class.

Do these children honestly think they would have fared better if their parents had given them the abstinence or safe-sex talk? What would their parents have told them? Don't have sex? Use protection? Those are simple points they should have arrived to on their own.

I'd imagine using a contraceptive isn't rocket-science, and if they'd like to be on birth-control and can't afford it, Planned Parenthood has a lot of options available.
