You guys should read the last few pages of the book by Faadumo Koran , a neice of Caano Geel , who in 1989 went back to Muqdisho with her German boyfreind. She tells the story of her husband buying some artifacts from Xamar , when his Mareexaan in-laws heared it Caano Geel went into fits arguing the Mareexaan owned the countery and the trader had no right to charge the german boyfreind of their cousin Fadumo any $$$. Caano Geel accompanied by red berete threatend the poor trader and the money was retruned.
Th story continues when the couple visit Marka gaurded by few Ilkoyar taunting guns, they stoped to eat and when the German man tried to pay again the Mareexaan used their guns against the resturant owner claiming " they owned the countery and thus everything must be free for them".
The book is by Fadumo Koran a priviliged little Mareexaan from the bush,

The main objective of the SNM was to topple Afwayne's regime. The second objective was to reclaim Somaliland's lost soveriegnty.
The first objective SUCCESSFULL. The second objective, still work in progress.

XKeyse,
You only heard about the SNM from afar but I lived the life and experienced the hard and tough work. If I am not boasting about it, I got more relatives in the SNM ranks than you can possibly think of. In short, SNM hadii maanta cid sheeganayso aniga ayaa ugu dhaw oo adeero iyo ilmadeero iyo abtiyaalba ku lahaa. If I was not young at that time, I would have been an SNM soldier myself. But I was one at heart anyways.
As for NSS... the time for NSS or SNM is not now... both NSS and SNM are Somaliland and Somaliland needs all regardless. The war has been won now the rebuilding of the communities and bridging the families is the hard work that requires the braves men and most patience of hands. Removing Siyad Barre and the Daaroods from the country was the easy part., building a country and creating a common identity is the hard work.

Yawle snitch,
Adoo dhagweyn ah miyaad muuse cabdale ugu faantay snm, ma Axmed mire baa 100 kula noqday. There is a difference between NSS and SNM and every somalilander knows that well , but your kind the small roaches that thrive on the stolen property of others try in vain to earse that history, it servers your Faqash agenda, you can lie to yourself at night and sleep better, no SNM would tell you that the NSS are forgotten nor forgiven but since your income and the income of your mother depends on Riyool's manhood you want to blur the lines and confuse others.
