A true lady balances power and grace. She is a virtuous woman who possesses poise, finds a win-win solution without hurting others in the process, avoids male bashing, is compassionate, is generous, and knows when saying nothing is better. There are those who claim to be true ladies but are nothing but harlots encased in fluffy exteriors. Unfortunately, I've come upon only one true lady in my life and she's currently married to my brother. Oh woe is me !

In any case, women aren’t born ladies-the title must be earned and I tip my hat to those ladies who do have such traits as faithfulness, honesty,and integrity and so deserve the title of lady.

A true lady is a woman who is in touch with her deen, fears Allah (SWT), who concentrates more in pleasing Allah (SWT) rather than a human-being, who protects her modesty (does NOT date nor shows off her beauty to men who are NOT related to her), who loves her brothers and sisters in faith for the sake of Allah (SWT), who neither gets jealous nor envies her fellow sisters in faith, who when it comes to choosing a spouse follows the Qur'an and Sunnah of the prophet (saw), who her mouth and hands the Muslims are save from (i.e. she does NOT backbite nor slander her brothers and sisters in faith), who tries to do everything that is right and forbids or stays away from evil, who does NOT get too attached to this world but looks forward to the hereafter, who is good to her parents and brothers and sisters in blood and last who is down to earth!
