The Somali Jinni

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Tue Nov 03, 2009 9:16 am

Kenyan/TZ Parties Are Awesome

They have the good, excellent entertainment and most important of all, everyone behaves themselves and no fights break out even though alcohol is being served.

If you gather 20 Somalis together, someone will start a fight, no so with the brotherly Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians and even Ethiopians & Eritreans.

What is this Jinni that causes Somalis to fight or act a fool @ functions ?

its called alcohol..
somalis cannot handle it....

by the way do you know that we are one of the few people in the world apart from hunter gatherers in the amazons for example that
do not have a culture of producing thier oen alcoholic drinks.

even the arabs used to produce it out of milk and even dates( a wine was made before the dicovery of distillation that brought about carak)
turkik and mongol nomadic tribes made thiers from horse milk.

there is no sign of it in somali culture, do you kow if it exists in oromo and canfar?

Gurey,

Oromo and Anfar make a brew from fremented milk and grains. Somalis used to booze I am sure. The problem is that we do it in guilt and that forces the drinker to over do it.

Gurey,

Milk is a good source to brew booze from: rich in sugars  . The Mongols made theirs from Horse Milk.

Where would the cafar get the grains from? They use the fruit of the palm-doum
