When you are from a gracious and noble clan and the biggest clan in East Africa; you would actually have different views than minority clans. You would see the bigger picture and the value of unity. It is always minority clans who propagate clan ideologies because a person from a minority clan would always have inferiority complex. In this era where our name became synonymous with hunger, violence, and refugees, there are many Somali clans who wouldn’t wish to see a united Somalia. So what do all these singers have in common? Yes, you guessed right; they are all from a noble clan and were all raised in inferiority-free households. And unlike the most other Somali singers, they are showing how they feel about the quandary in our homeland. Soomaalidu waxay ku maah-maadaa “Laan-gaab waa Ehulu Naar”.
