Its a fact that this is a government plot but it still sucks.

What's even wore is how UK Somalis are so detached from reality, its like these retards live in two alternate worlds of clubbing and salaf jadiid. WTF.

Cumar just read this topic. You have moderate and liberal UK Somalis who are preaching fundamentalism and militancy for Muslims in America but they don't do it in their own country. This is not happening in their own country that's why they preach it. Nothing good can come of this for Muslim-Americans, we're not concerned with Afghans or Iraqis but our own hard lives, we don't need things to get any worse, we don't need to be harrassed in the streets or our colleagues to distance themselves from us. These same kids like Keyse and Somali-Star will go to the mafrish tonight I bet.

I gotta say, I used to be one of those people who led a conflicting lifestyle; bad-mouthing anything & everything America, while reaping all the benefits America offered. But lately, I've come to view this country as being my 2nd home, I'm grateful to all the opportunities it has provided me with, thankfull to Allah for keeping me safe among its borders; something that was denied to me by those whom I share religion & blood with. America is as much as it is mine as it is anyone else; its a country of immigrants, by immigrants, for immigrants. My rights are protected by the Bill of rights, same way it protects the rights of averyone else here. There's nowhere else that I want to be today & there's no country that provides the dignity this country awards to all those who live in its midst. You're only worth what you show people. Act like an ignorant 3rd class citizen and get fucked or start being part of the civilized world and get the respect you deserve.

Its simple really, if you don't like the West, pack up & move to a Muslim country. Or else, stfu.

^^ Well you're not a soldier or a counsellor who has to deal with all kinds of horror stories. You're not a Palestinian Muslim serving in the US army, who claims he is not accepted in their very institution for which he is expected to give his life for against his coreligionist. I am not saying this neccessarily warrants the path that he took, but there are far greater racial, social, mental and religious issues at play in this case, which is very hard to understand for those of us who are never exposed to such realities.

Sahan,

Not at all, but when you have idiots like Somalistar screaming his lungs out with nonsense like he was brave mujahid, shahiid, etc, it tends to get annoying, lets face it he was anything but a brave mujahid, he was a coward and took the easy way out, I doubt he did this for religion reasons.
somali-star has one good point and that is he may have done it b/c these other soldiers told him of how they raped those arab women, destroyed and killed people, perhaps made fun of his religion and what not... and the dude just snapped

all of the media was at the MCC (Muslim Community Center) in Silver Spring, MD today... interviewing him and showing the apartment he used to live in, the 7-11 he would go to all the time, ect

a few friends of mine knew him, he would drive them to the masjid for Fajr in the morning everyday...

Funny thing is a lot of what You say is undeniable. In our Country We can be robbed, killed and our female relatives raped, yet over here our security is maintained and protected and We're treated with dignity.

America

You're rights are protected by a bit of scribble on an old piece of paper. Interesting concept.

What the fuck is wrong with VT?
"Military records show he also served in the ROTC as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech"
If I had to live in Virginia for any extended part of my life I'd probably kill someone at some point too, though.
