Air canada the hargeysa airport area is not visible in the map , if you even added the airport area where new xafaado and Degmos are being build there at the moment as we speak - hargeysa would even be more bigger and the unchallenged city.

maybe sxb in 5 years time hargeysa will be double of xamar considering the fast rate hargeysa is expanding , while xamar isn't getting any bigger any sooner.

Geeljirayaal bartey Google earth.

Btw, Kismayo including its environ has a population of 100K, according to Fsau. Whereas Bosaso is of upwards of 300K.

I'll say,

1. Mogadishu, still the biggest
2. Hargeisa , second
3. Boosaaso
4. Bur'o
5. Galka'yo
6. Kismayo
7. Erigavo and Badhan.
8. Beledweyne.

LOL @ Erigavo & Badhan being bigger than Beletweyn :lol:

Reality:

1. Xamar
2. Hargeisa
3. Bosaso
3. Beletweyn
3. Kismayo
3. Baydhabo
3. Marka
3. Gaalkacyo
3. Burco

The rest are irrelevant for whatever reasons. Those are Somalia's unofficial #3 cities.

We know #1 and #2 and I think all the cities I put at #3 are the same population size give or take 30,000 people or a few hundred houses.

What a retard.

Nabeela

I always thought Mogadishu was the biggest city in Somalia, but according to Google world city maps, it is true Hargiesa is bigger than Mogadishu. i guess nothing was added to Mogadishu for the last 25years, and i bet you in 10yrs time, kismayo, Burco Bosaso will surpass Mogadishu if the status quo continues in Xamar

Mogadishu is twice as big as hargeisa on google map or any other website

Mogadishu = 30/km2 (77.6/sq miles)
Hargeisa = 15/km2 (38.8/sq miles)
