Silat and Sufism

Postby gurey25 » Fri Nov 20, 2009 7:48 am

Isnt it ironic that people who are today viewed as pacifists were the biggest influence on Silat(in its various forms)
The most complete and deadly martial art (combat art is better description becuase it has noting to do with sport like karate)
known to man came from sufis..

just started reading this long awaited book

bhuddists know maritals arts too. The point is every group has what you called pacifist bootlicking fools and heroes. Example: Sayid Muhamad hated Xabashi occupation, but Qadiriyah Sufis welcome the Ethiopians tanks with hadra and celebration.
