Secondly, there's no conclusive exclusive corelation between becoming more religious and becoming a terrorist (which is what Al-Shabaab are, cuz they terrorize the population). Maybe they won't, maybe they will....but maybe they won't. Internal thoughts are internal, and noone can usually foresee these things until they actually happen.
I wasn't talking about becoming more religious, I was talking about extreme shifts in behaviour which should raise suspicions, they should take time to learn about the deen otherwise their is a risk that people will exploit their ignorance.
Unless u've developed a wand that's an "extremist detector", who's to say a shift in behaviour means they're considering joining Al-Shabab? There could be several factors that can account for that....maturity, finding God (legitimately), troubles with the law, etc. I see where ur coming from...but ur wrong.

Yea they were in Baydhabo protecting the dowlad of Abdullahi Yusuf, the same thing AMISOM is doing for Shariif
