Shahid sheikh Maxamed rashaad have passed away AUN

I cried when I heard this news. I was so fortunate to see him about four weeks ago. He was doing a lecture on Qabriga, and he wept, and made everyone there weep. He made the most beautiful Dua for haweenka Somaalida. May Allah (swt) light his grave, and widen it for him, and Ilaah Jannatul Firdaus haku bishaareeyo. Ameeen! Truly an extraordinary man. Alhamdulillah.

Inaalillaahi Wa Inaa Ilayhi Raajicuun. This is one of the most shocking and heartbreaking deaths, yet it's one of the most beautiful and fortunate deaths. May Allah SWT Have Mercy on his soul and Raise him in ranks. Truly a huge loss for the Ummah. The silver lining is the Sheikh died a natural death that you couldn't plan any better: he died in Makkah, on the Day of Arafat, while at Mina, while making Hajj. SubxaanAllah.

My heart goes out to his family. In September, his 18-year old daughter died in Ottawa when she fell 11 storeys from a balcony in an apartment building. Then about 2 weeks ago, his 27 year old niece (the daughter of his wife's sister) died in Ottawa when she fell from an overpass bridge. The Sheikh was deeply touched by these two deaths. May Allah SWT Make it easy for his family and Grant them patience and sabr.
