welcome

In face of great tragedies, opportunities rise to bring people together and inspire younger generation to pick up the torch and lead with dedication. The death of Ali Gualid has left many of us in shock and disbelief. Ali’s dedicated work and missions were shortened by the inescapable fate that awaits everyone. Yet, this presents a valuable opportunity for the Somali community in the Bay Area community and Diaspora across the globe to come together and form a platform for change, leadership and promotion of Somaliland causes.
Marshall Foundation is independent nonprofit organization that inspires to serve Somaliland people at many levels. At this stage, our focus is education. Marshall Foundation is to issue higher education scholarships to full-time, financially needy students in Somaliland. The Foundation will award three students full scholarship to attend accredited university in Somaliland. This scholarship is available to all students with strong academic record and passion for civil services.
Every concerned person is welcome to join. Ali Marshall Foundation will strive to manifest tangible results in Somaliland primarily promoting education accessibility for youth and government transparency. We encourage communities to form similar nucleus groups that will focus on specific issue. We would like to network with other communities in North America and England. We will coordinate with these communities to develop methods and strategies to attain reachable goals
