Nabeela,

Two kinds of tea are my favorites:

1. The one you mentioned, I actually take a thermos of that mild tea made with good amount of fresh Ginger/Cardamon/Cinnamon... I enjoy it and keep sipping the whole day..No milk...

2. This one is very strong made with milk...The Indian kind...I do sometimes use that one...

Noble,

Yes..it is the Indian style..that is why you find it where ever there were Indians..Like Kenya... I love it ...But it is not that healthy...So I drink it once in a while...

BTW the dhegayre(cloves) should be used very sparingly...It has a very strong flavor and it makes tea bitter...I avoid it usually..

Yeah i dont like too much sugar, max 1 teaspoon, but darken the teabag for a long time and add some milk, not sure if thats quite indian tea. Cloves have a lovely flavour i usually add 4 per cup, which is a lot, but it gives it a firey taste, not that bitter. Tea can be prepared in many ways and my personal preference is very unique and aquired, my cousin sipped my cup on eid and was like yuck, no sugar and too many cloves lol.
