Those aren't really comparable to the likes of this one and the Hargeisa bombing, the Jihad against Ethiopia and the AU attack weas endorsed by all Somalis at the time whereas this one and it's ilk were met with both criticism and support.
Shabab won't lose supporters if they accept responsibility for it, considering their repertoire, it won't be a stretch for anybody who supports them to rationalize this.
Let's put it this way, Shabab denied it, right? If it's proven that they had nothing to do with them, would you change your attitude towards Shabab?
