Kenyan police have arrested more than hundred Somalian Eastl

Postby Goljano Lion » Sun Dec 06, 2009 11:33 pm

NAIROBI (Mareeg)—Kenyan police have arrested more than hundred Somalian Eastleigh, a Nairobi suburb for the last two days, witnesses said on Sunday.

Residents in Eastleigh say the Kenyan police started operations in the district where more Somalis have businesses and arrested people who had legal papers as well as those with legal documents
People say the police have also arrested non-Somalis and the motive behind these operations is not known, but it seems there is a fear that fighters from Somalia may infiltrate the people and attack Nairob

I can't believe this, this is outrageous. what has Nairobi to do with the fighting in Kismayo, they need to secure the border and do these arrests in towns close to the border -not Nairobi.

My brother is there, I hope he didn't get arrested. where did you get this, is this today? provide a link.
