This global warming thing is another facade, another potential taxation instrument by gov'ts.

I am really worried about charcoal burning issue though, Somalia will become all desert in our live time, scary but true.

i agree, so basically we need to adapt new ways to prevent these immediate catastrophes such as desertification ?

i dont disbelieve all the science behind the climate change ordeal, but their is posible twist to favor certain nations

We don't have to fear the desert, solar water desalination could save us from it. But Somalis are never capable of utilizing this technology anyway.

assylum is waste, and that is a fact! but when you need to go, you got to go :|

im not unfamiliar with how keen rich nations are in welcoming poor migrants, into the slums, ghettos and over crowded inner cities.

When I was a young lad (100 yrs  ), on the banks of River Tana in Garissa district, we had thick forest, huge forest and now, very little of that forest is there. You could the same for most part of Somalia, especially, the areas in Jubbaland.

but what can we do to save the environment? how the hell can we help the destitute (remember most Somalis are dirt poor) to find another form of energy?

Ideas please.

They could stop having so many babies and with that money saved they could afford 'clean' energy.

Most women in Somali give birth to on average 6 children, 4 they can't afford!

somaliland is taking steps to stop tree cutting in it's regions and using Solar system Electricity , Gas , etc instead of cutting down unnecessary numbers of trees.

like this for example - Tuulaada Beerato - Solar System - Oodweyne.
