Somalis are Moving Back Home!

At least those that have Peace in their lands. I do not know about Ildoors but Puntlanders are returning back home in huge numbers. And they are staying there.

Just in my family, Uncle has just retired in Garowe, Aunties and many other family members have taken there kids back home to be raised and my own Father and Mother are planning to return in the next year or two.

Some of my close Friends parents have move back already and more plan to do so and I am just amazed.

Is This a new trend?

It's Northern Mudug Region these days it's called karkara, buur Salah wa Cumar Maxuud town, perhaps Reer Khalaf Majority but there is a good number of Reer Mahads that live there as well.

My pops already went back 2006 and has been chilling ever since then, last time i saw him he looked much younger and much happier than he was when he was here in the uk.

thats the thing about somalis from abroad, they still have their dual citizenship so when ever they need certain medical carethat they cannot get back home they can always come back.
