My pops already went back 2006 and has been chilling ever since then, last time i saw him he looked much younger and much happier than he was when he was here in the uk.

Healthcare system sucks

thats the thing about somalis from abroad, they still have their dual citizenship so when ever they need certain medical carethat they cannot get back home they can always come back.

What if you are in urgent need of specific medication? If I was over 50 I would never live in Somalia.

They sell expired drugs for crying out loud…

My grandparents moved back in hargeisa in 1995... waaay before most people. Suffice to say they're still happy living there.

seems most of my family are moving back home,(and hargaisa seems to be the only place on every1's mind except for one of my adeers who is chilling in his farm in midhisho) inshallah i have two to five plane(ALLAH is the best planner) in moving back or closer to it atleast, i think 20 years of london's air is enough.

Very true. Though it only applies to the European Somalis, who have a healthcare system to return home to. lol Older folks from the US are better off staying in Somalia
