Humility in Islam!

Asalaamu Alaikum all,
Check out these beautiful Verses that deal with humility. It's astonishing! Subhanallah. We're supposed to be humble and meek as servants of the Most-High, but how many of us speak with arrogance? How many of us suffer from severe pride? Selfishness? How many of us look down on others because we think they're not as intelligent, popular or cool as us?
"Verily, We sent (Messengers) to many nations before you (O Muhammad SAW ). And We seized them with extreme poverty (or loss in wealth) and loss in health with calamities so that they might believe with humility." (Surah Al -An-am, Verse 42)
"When Our Torment reached them, why then did they not believe with humility? But their hearts became hardened, and Shaitân (Satan) made fairseeming to them that which they used to do." (Surah Al-An'am, Verse 43)
"Successful indeed are the believers, those who humble themselves in their prayers... ( Surah Al-Muminoon, Verse 1-2)
"Has not the time arrived for the believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah SWT and of the Truth which has been revealed to them.? " (Surah, AL-Hadid, Verse 16)
"And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allâh SWT) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness." (Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 63)
Arrogance is what kicked shaytaan out of Paradise. He refused to follow Allah's command, because he thought he was of a higher status than Prophet Adam (AS). He refused to humble himself infront of Adam (RA). We are nothing and we have nothing, except that which Allah SWT chooses to bless us with. Lets always remember that, insha-Allah. Shaytaan continues to whisper in our ears and trying to plant the seeds of arrogance, pride, love of wealth and status in our hearts. If we resist him, and we humble ourselves - Allah SWT will reward us in this life and in the Hereafter, insha-Allah.
