Shortest ruling Somali President Still Alive

Postby IRONm@N » Fri Jan 08, 2010 2:37 am

President Mukhtar Mohamed Hussien was the President of Somalia from Oct 15-Oct 21 1969 (6 days only) until the Coup of Said Barre.
He is over 95yrs old and still lives Mogadishu Somalia.

I don't know why Somalis don't give this president his respect, and just mention Aden Cade, Abdirashid and Said Barre.

He was the Raxanweyn speaker of the parliament and was not the "president". In the event of a president's death, the prime minister becomes president. In the event of both of their deaths, the speaker becomes president. The prime minister Cigaal was too busy playing games in Las Vegas to be confirmed but he was still alive.

But he become the temporary acting president of Somalia after Abdirashid was assasinated, until elections or someone else could be appointed.

I guess Somalis don't remember him because of tribe.

First learn the law of your country. The line of succession is president, prime minister, speaker of the parliament, etc. In the event of the deaths of president and prime minister does the speaker become the president. Haji Mukhtar never became president because the prime minister was alive and in control of government. Cigaal however never became president because he was not confirmed as he was too busy playing qamaar and drinking his heart out in Las Vegas at the time of the murder.

You contradicting yourself, in one way you saying Cigaal wasn't available and didn't want to become president, and in another way you saying he is suppose to be president after Cigaal.
Cigaal wasn't there, so he took the helm temporarly, and you can deny all you want, and cover up that your uncle took the presidency by force from a Rahaweyn man. :D
What law is there, did Said Barre did Said Barre presidency had anything to do with law?
