There was a story like this that happen in Canada. a Pakistani kid hires a white guy to kill his parents and then take the money etc. they are sick.

Minhas' confession came after authorities announced Wednesday that a fingerprint found at the scene of the crime matched Mohamed's.

“They knew we had them,” Houston Police Sgt. Brian Harris told the Chronicle. “They knew they left too much evidence at the scene.”

Mohamed, a Somali native, was charged with capital murder. Minhas, who allegedly arranged the murder because he thought his mother was too 'strict,' was charged with solicitation of capital murder.

Harris says that initially neither Minhas nor Mohamed showed remorse for what they had done and even tried to charm the police.

“[Minhas is] very manipulative, very cunning and he was trying to put his spin on it,” he told the Chronicle.

The 17-year-old only confessed when he realised Mohamed had told the cops about their deal.

Minhas then told police that although he loved his mother "to death," she was too strict.

“I don't think he realized how that sounded," Harris told the paper. "She gave him a curfew, chores and other things a responsible parent does.”

According to the The Houston Chronicle, Minhas initially told police he discovered his mother's bloody corpse in their apartment on Nov. 24 after a night out.

He said his mother was most likely surprised by the attacker while she was counting the cash she was going to spend on bills and a feast for the Muslim holiday of Eid.
