Yemen is at Where Somalia was 1988-1990

Postby Somalian_Boqor » Sun Jan 10, 2010 7:43 pm

Yemen is at Where Somalia was 1988-1990.

Within two to three years Yemen will become a failed state.

They should learn from the Somalis and leave Qabil iyo Khat alone.

Yemen has always been like Somalia, just with a central government. This Houthi rebel conflict and what not will bankrupt their central bank very soon and that will be what does them in.

South Yemen will declare itself independent again

South Yemen wa Ildoors.

One could deduce from that statement, that idoors are way too advanced for the rest of Somalia also.

Not while Saudi Arabia has an interest in defeating the Shia uprising on it's borders. Yemen is unlikely to become a failed state becuase the world will not allow it to become one. In addition, the Houthi uprising in the north does not have any support (not even in South Yemen).

^^^ Look back at the Somali Media coverage from the 90s, everyone was saying the West and the Arab states would not allow Somalia to become a Fail State and 20 years later just look at where we are at. :|

It's all about Interest and Yemen just like Somalia doesn't have much to offer the world. So they are fucked if they don't get their house together.
