MINNEAPOLIS - The two teen suspects were charged Thursday in the Seward Market triple murder that took place January 6. Ahmed Shire Ali aka Ahmed Abdi Ali, 17, and Mahdi Hassan Ali, 17, were attempting to rob the Minneapolis market when a customer, Anwar Mohammed, entered and attempted to stop them, causing a shooting spree, according to the criminal complaint.Mohammed was shot and killed in the melee. The teens fled the store, only to return to shoot and kill market owner Abdi-Fata Warfa, and his cousin Mohammed Warfa as the owner was attempting to call 911.
The complaint claims two witnesses hid in the freezer and called 911 from their cell phones.
