They will be condemned by history. This I have no doubt and will occupy the very bottom of history's dust-pins. Them and the other evils that have afflicted our nation. My great-great-grandmother was killed by the Darawiish army and my great-grandfather and his brother had to fend for themselves at a young age. Still allahu aclam...they still had a greater goal.
This begs the question, how then would Al-shabab be viewed by future generations?

I strongly agree it's shame to comapre the Dervish resistance movement to the barbaric and brutal nature of the Al Shabab criminals who time after time showed callous disregard for human life.As critical as I am of the Darwish tactics, I think it is an insult to compare them to Al Shabab.

sayid muhamad and the dervishes showed severe disregard for innocent life, perhaps even moreso than alshabab. i believe most somalis would have hated them( mainly due to clan grievances- especially some northern somalis), if it wasn't for the somali nationalist governments. in the end, history depends on who writes it and for what purpose.I strongly agree it's shame to comapre the Dervish resistance movement to the barbaric and brutal nature of the Al Shabab criminals who time after time showed callous disregard for human life.As critical as I am of the Darwish tactics, I think it is an insult to compare them to Al Shabab.
