Indeed nothing is better than freedom but in fairness my attempts to make a judgement between Somalia as it exists today and Somalia as it existed under the Italian was purely along the lines of development. Although one can say Somalia had surpassed and left in dust the colonial advancement when it was a functioning state it can be argued that colonial Somalia was and is better than today's Somalia. Still if my comments were judged to be inflammatory and pro-colonialism I apologize and do not wish to disparage Somali identity, nationhood, independence, and freedom over their lives and affairs. It was not my intention and perhaps I misjudged the extent to which the youth are still vociferously pro-liberation even sometimes above economic and social stagnation. Still you have a right to be and it is especially negative blotch in my contributions here in Somalinet as one of the people who have done the most effort in bringing to light just the extent of Somalia's liberation as having been waged in the expanse countryside of the Somali peninsula against both the British and Italian colonists.

Indeed i do accept your apology whole heartedly and commend you for your ballsy apptitude in stepping up as a man.....or a woman, ..... and admitting your general betrayal to your brethrem.I for one have always understood your fierce patriotic sense and your determination for a better Somalia. In fact, i am sure had you been given the opportunity to be the president of Somalia--our lost savage nation would have been.....yes.... something along Baare part two, but a better one than what we have now. I apologized for how my views were interpreated not the fact I still do believe colonial Somalia was better and more developed then Somalia in its current state.

I felt this clarification was warranted when people who had called the English Queen "Queen Mum", such as Emperior, have attacked me for pro-colonialism sentiment. Indeed I would also like to applaud this development as it shows me the extent to which I have emancipated my Somaliland brothers by showing them the extent of their Somalia Italiana brothers' pride and independence in being staunch anti-colonialists even when the Italian colonization was greatly more positive then the British colonization of Somaliland. If the Italians who had contributed to Somalia Italiana have been demoted in honor of pride and independence, what reason do individuals such as Emperior have for calling the English Queen "Queen Mum" when the English did not so much as contribute to any development even worth a grain of salt in Somaliland? They understand this now and if anything I believe perhaps this episode has done more good then harm if it makes them talk like this:
