Why are Somalis the only westernized & liberalized Muslim demographic that wears that shit?
Why is it that other groups like Pakis, Oromos, and the likes keep their heritage without having to put a marker on themselves.
If someone's pious, fine, but that's almost never the case. If you're gonna live a liberal lifestyle, what's the point of fronting some other look?
as offensive as it is and sad you're right. Why are Somalis the only westernized & liberalized Muslim demographic that wears that shit?

Cuz Somali's are all about appearances. It wouldn't do for Lul to appear to be more "pious" than Hoda, so they all strive to out do each other, in order to show the other that "I'm a better Muslim than you are". JMO. looooooool
cumar no matter how much prove u bring forth, she will still stick to and toe the part linesMad may,
No. 4430 - Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba: 'Aisha used to say: "When (the Verse): "They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms," was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their faces with the cut pieces."
Like I said, there were different expectations of the Mothers of the Believers because of the political situation at the time, hence the declaration in the Quran:Mad may,
No. 4430 - Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba: 'Aisha used to say: "When (the Verse): "They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms," was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their faces with the cut pieces."
For ordinary women, the face and hands are allowed to be shown, as seen in the Prophets approval of this girls uncovered face, the Rasuul instead underlined the importance of lowering ones gazeO Wives of the Prophet! You are not like any of the other women.
Quran 33:32
Here the Prophet SAW clearly states what is expected of women in terms of CawrahAbdullah bin Abbas reports that the Prophet was riding a camel with Al-Fadhl, Abdullah's brother, behind him. A beautiful woman came to ask the Prophet about the Hajj of her father. Al Fadhl began to stare at her; her beauty impressed him a lot. The Prophet (peace be upon him) having noticed this while Al Fadhl was busy looking, put his hand behind and turned his face away from her hither and thither as she went along with them. Al Abbas said to the Prophet, "you are twisting the neck of your nephew!" The Prophet replied, "I noticed that both the boy and the girl were young; and I feared that Satan may intervene". (Bukhari and Tirmidhi)
I think this proves that niqaab is not Sunnah very clearly, I dont know why it seems so shocking to peopleAyesha (R) reported that Asmaa the daughter of Abu Bakr (R) came to the Messenger of Allah (S) while wearing thin clothing. He approached her and said: 'O Asmaa! When a girl reaches the menstrual age, it is not proper that anything should remain exposed except this and this. He pointed to the face and hands. (Abu Dawood)
I want to strive to maintain the standards outlined in the Quran and clarified by the Prophet SAW, thats all every woman should try for.^^Naayaahe you are very hard-headed, so wouldn't strive to be like the best women of mankind?
She clearly doesn't know the meaning of 'Sunnah'. Marka salaam ku dheh oo ka tag63. And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allâh) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness.
waryaaaaa dont make fun of me . ok^^No actually it's compulsory to wear the full hijab and it is sunnah to cover the face i.e. niqab as the wives of the prophet(SCW) used to. In Islam if you aren't knowledgable in something the best thing to do is to not comment so as to not mislead people.
so may what you are trying to suggest is that niqaab is bidca or innovationI want to strive to maintain the standards outlined in the Quran and clarified by the Prophet SAW, thats all every woman should try for.^^Naayaahe you are very hard-headed, so wouldn't strive to be like the best women of mankind?
