I've always wanted to visit far and wide countries but it's very difficult for me to go to places where I don't know the lingo - ksa and uae being the only places I went where I didn't speak the language.
Anyway I've always had an urge to go to these place, in no particular order:

LA - places like beverly hills, bel air and malibu :D

Miami, Florida

Zanzibar

Jerusalem - I've been to Makkah & Madinah, so I need to complete the holy three cities  ;)

Somalia - many places within the country to visit, i.e Mogadishu, Marka, Jamaame etc

Ganjaweed,

I recommend reading some of Jeffery Sach's works like "The End of Poverty":

For an interesting perspective on why how societies rise, fall and the factors behind each swing:

A good book on why development occurred differently on different continents and how geography, location, environment, weather all influenced the development of societies:
AbdiWahab you are really an educated fellow, I've read them all, great books

Dawwa9,

Being a Tollworker on the Somali Highway System leaves a lot of time for reading. I once read the Grapes of Wrath in less than 1 week:
Where was your isbaaro located?

The only places I ever had a burning desire to visit were Makkah and Medina, and Alhamdulillah, I recently had that blessed opportunity so I'm GOOD.
