As a Somali I have circulated these forums, and I have seen discussions pertaining to my people, I was grossly disturbed by the notion, that most of you think we are related to the people of Sub-Saharan Africa. The actors in the movie "Black Hawk Down" were not Somali but in fact Negroid (Bantus). The majority of "Somalis" residents that live in Maine (which caused controversy) were non Somali, they are called Somali-Bantu. They came to Somalia from Tanzania and Mozambique in the 1800s as slaves. I vehemently believe that everyone should stay with their own kind. In fact before the Civil War Somalis married their own Ethnic Somalis. Bantus were not allowed to marry Somalis, and those who did were prosecuted. Now the lost Somalis in the West are mixing with African Americans and other various people of the Negroid race. I don't want to keep dragging this issue, but it would be splendid, if you would not include us pure ethnic Somalis into their adoon group. Well keep doing what you are doing, I hope you all stay pure within your race. And teach your kids to stay away from them! Because those gene's they inhibit are harder than their hair. Good day.
