That's true. But I still don't like people calling my Imam "petty."Well I can tell you it is NOT true.
p.s. Petty wasn't specifically for the Imam. It is for the institution of Somali tribal leadership. Compared to how the rest of the world's tribal leaders function and the powers they wield within their people, Somali tribal leaders really are just ceremonial.
