btw- Somalis in the uk don't have any ministers or lords.

There are a few councillors and one mayor of a constituency(I think). Also, I believe Somalis in the UK have had way more opportunities in the than most Somalis in the world, especially those in Scandanavia. Bascially, you get everything handed to you on a plate and you can make something of yourself. With that consideration, I would say Somalis in the UK are probably one of the biggest diaspora failures, that is in terms of what they could have and what they have achieved. You wouldn't believe there are somali men who have been here for about twenty years, yet they don't speak english properly and they seek job seekers allowance for years.

My vote goes to the North American or USA diaspora. They seem more politically organised(albeit with a slight tendency to focus on regionalism back home.).
