bloody students... all most 50to60% of the graduates i know are still looking for employment in their chosen field, i was lucky enough, i waited only 6 months after graduations to land a suitable job but waited 2 and half years to get the position i wanted alhamdulilah.
my advice to those still uni, is to stay on after first degree and complete post-grad course and at the same time do some meaningfull work experience,(helps the cv)

come from a fam with a long line of educated women . why mom graduated from Rage-Ugaas high school and then Gaheyr university in xamar/muqidsho and worked & made alot of money .. Allah bless Aabe Siyaad (aun) he gave us free education, chance to travel the world , money & progress

Some of those schools are not entirely funded or a partner institution of my UAE scholarship program. So my choice is limited, best US one in that list is the University of California.

Don't want to end up paying $70K for just one year, so I suppose I have to skip them

University of Cali - Berkley, wouldn't be a bad bet. Although it'd depend on what ud go to school for, of course.

International Baccalaureate program – finished in 2007 (took mostly sciences)
BSc in Civil Engineering with a minor in Geology and IT – expected to finish by june this year.

I'm doubtful about pursuing a master's program in sciences or do something in management like an MBA (Yes you do spell this word with with ‘AN’, google it).
