he'd be married to all 4 of them

including 2 hoor al ayn (which is for every man who dies a normal death)

the shaheed gets 72
the wives of dunia are more beautiful than huur eyn..so i hear..

btw: if he was only married to one, only one comes right? i don't want the baggage of dunia to follow me to heaven, u know the others. Oh Lord forgive me...

 @ "romantic" Yeah, the thought of my death, and then my wife's death, just fills me with romantic notions. Kin hardly wait.

It always amazes me how frigginly backward it comes out when they talk about it . It usually the most backward that tell you tales as if they've been there .
Yanno???

What is backward? Heaven? I think of it this way: Human beings look for perfection in life beginning from their body to everything else around them. In this life, we invent technologies to attain such perfection to a decent level that is still imperfect at best, but we keep trying at it generation after generation. People want to look young, People want ultimate service, people want best homes that meet their needs, from aestethically pleasing gardens to a house that overlooks a flowing rivers, people want everything that makes life pleasant and easy. Heaven has all that plus. Perfectly sculptured people, everyone is remade to perfection, no peeing, no bathroom needs, no aging, no sickness, and no DEATH, etc. Ultimate service, you just have to think about what you need and whatever you thought of drops in front of you, so you are limited only by your imagination.

Btw, how valid is the 72 wives hadith? Two would be ideal

^^^ Sounding as if he's been there.

Geo

Good oratory skills there---your picture of heaven reminded me of dhuksi days--where heaven there is no need to go to bathroom and no aging. Walaahi for a split seconds there----i was moved and wanted to be a devout muslim and start striving for Janaah.

But in this busy modern world of ours--who has time to be pious and devoutly religious? Our somali culture has our ayeeyos and awoowes---became devout in their old age--which is practical for them--since they are old, restricted to home and their children taking care of them. What is a single young person to do ??? :x

In islam, it is not a matter of finding what appeals to someone's particular interests but what is Authentically Islamic based on God's revealed words and on his prophet's authenticated hadiith, beyond that, it is not part of Islam. So, yalaxoow, adiga hadhoow baxar ha is gelin, ilaahaa yiri, rasuulkiisaa yiri(oo meel muslimka isku wada raacsan yahay laga soo xigtay) haddaadan haynin, waa la isaga aamuusaa bro.

unfortunatly you can claim any hadiith as authentic, even if that hadiith sounds like wax aan macquul aheeyn! maaha sheekada baxar ha is galin, of course there are good hadiiiths but there are mny hadiith which unfortunatly condradicts what allah says (quraaan)

so tusaaaale about Apostasy in islam! there is ayaah in quran whichs says
la ikraha fi-al-Din
which simply means
There's no compulsion in religion
and there is hadiiths which condradics that and says kill those who converts from islam to gaalnimo!!

marka authentic does not mean inuu hadiiskaas 100% yahay mid sax ah.

Geodisc the 72 xuural cayn were mentioned byb a terrorist wannabe called EOMM above you .You're irrelevant to me !

I am irrelevant but you replied nonetheless. PS: Still nursing the wounds from my blow in the other thread? Sidii gabar dhoocila ah "Ammaan isii" waxba ha oran ee damiin yohow wax baro. Jannada represents ultimate perfection. It is backward only in your twisted mind.

Mike

I haven't been there but Islam depicts heaven as the ultimate perfect existence, the kind of life or existence human beings strive for but can't attain without God's help, Hence, Allah preparing for those who follow his guidance in teh words of prophet mohamad pbuh "What eyes haven't seen, ears haven't heard, or a human heart can never imagine". PS: Now, shine my shoes for a buck

Basra

You are worthy of my attention Bella, am pressed for time now however, catch ya later, oh Dugsi days   now you took me back in memories.

But the idea of reuniting in Jannah kinda defeats the romantic notion of it though.

no no my dear...the whole purpose of romeo and juliet is that the world impedes in their desire to be together so might as well die and be together somewhere else... servers the very purpose you're tryna defeat don'tcha think?

lecture cajiib ah baan dawaday the other day, it was about life in jannah. it was amazing listening to the wadaad as he described the many levels, the gardens the homes allocated for reer jannah etc...he used a man and his wife as an example. he began with the journey of man toward his home in jannah and reuniting with his wife in jannah, very romantic. and then the wadaad got to the specifics...he said, ninku haduu xaas ama xaasas ku lahaa dunida before his death, she or they will be brought to him....but only 2 women. haduu lahaa sadex naag ama 4 naag, labadii ugu horeysey baa loo keeni jannada.

i'm wondering this...and i'm still wondering... what happens to the 3rd and 4th?? yaa u maqan naagahaas?
Was this lecture by sheikh riyad by any chance?
