Saaxib, this is not about qabil issue. It is about justice, about morality, about accountability and about common decency.Let me tell you one more thing dumb fukin hawiye .There is NO Single group of Somalis that can today say the isaaqs have treated us in an outrageously violent way !! You as an abgaal know your own curse ,don't waste my time madafaka !! As as tribal entity the hawiye and the daarod have for the most FAILED the people , yet you will always find them speaking of beautiful concepts of equality and justice .such hypocrites no wonder they have no country !
We want a seperate country .

I like that wordIt has been over 20 years, since we started killing each other, as Somalis, I am so disapointed to read all these nonesense comments posted by individuals who claim still that theyr are living well-devoloped countries, when will we learn from our mistakes? the world is considered today as Global Village, and we are still going after tribes, don`t we hear and see? sahme on you guys, we are in the 21st century, people are going to Mars, and we are debating about idoorland, darood land, hawiyo land, rahanwayn land. somalia is one and Somalia is for Somalians.![]()

SahanGalbeed,
Voltage is actually quite right. You are very wrong to throw insults against an entire clan simply because of the crimes of one man. To categorize an entire group of people as "untouchables" and equate them to such a despicable level is insulting not only to the victims of this cruel system but to the rest of the decent people. This troglodytic mentality has no place in our culture or religion and affronts the deepest levels of humanity and Somalinimo. So you need to apologize.
With regards to the trails of Gen Samatar, we all know that the man is criminal who is directly responsible for the deaths of at least 50 thousand innocent people and the displacement of 400 thousand more. But he is not alone, and here is where I deeply disagree with you, you do your case no favor when one of the regime's chief agents of terror is appointed as your President and your hypocrisy is obvious by your ignoring of the crimes of other agents of terror such as Maslax Siyad Barre and Gen Morgan. Either go after all these culprits or better yet, move forward to a path of reconciliation which will help your case.
But if you insist on prosecuting these culprits, just remember that, you don't have to fight for justice in the United States. You can fight for justice in Hargaisa by prosecuting Riyaale.

His wife is Marexaan. He was a slave hard candy ! None of the people you are seing here supporting him and certainly not the generation of their fathers would have given a girl from their clan to this guy .Yet Barre at the height of his repression made him def minister as well vice president .He was a slave with no remorse since hailed from a background that was the equivalent of the indian "untouchables" .We just happened to the recipients of their state terrorism .It's okay though , Allah swt has not let us down ,and today guess who is laughing ?These people are still cursed and it is no coincidence that shit like al kalaab and all kinds of inkaar are still gaining traction among them .I'm not a sheikhit is only my opinion but we want a seperate country
If you don't see their pirates , you see their terrorists ,if it is not their terrorist it's a fukin ghost from a nightmare. you thought you've never had ...just let us out !!!

You have got your understanding of the Geneva Conventions wrong. There is a hierarchy of responsibility (btw it is not limited to military commanders alone but includes even Journalists). You need to review the Command Responsibility Based on International Laws, he is guilty of the crimes he is accused of.SahanGalbeed,

i co-sign that
but i disagree with you on your Riyaale comment
you are comparing onions to orange
Let us be honest with each other, we all know Riyaal was an agent of the government like so many isaaqs, THE GUY WAS A JAAJUUS FOR Afweyn regime, waryaa, that doesn’t constitute war crimes.
But Samatar participated in the highest levels of decision-making that allowed the bombing, the killing and execution of Somaliland civilians, for God sake the guy was Secretary of defense/ minister of defense or what ever term you like to use
Samatar was one of the architects of Hargeisa Bombing. Could be rumors but I heard Samatar suggested to afaweyn an attack on Hargeisa city because he was deeply worried about the support, and sympathy SNM were getting from Hargeisa residents
according to Geneve convention a commander can be liable for war crimes committed by his inferiors if he knew or should have known they would be committed and did nothing to stop of prevent them

Why is SahanGalbeed so angry?
Goljano Lion, since you stated all criminals must be brought to justice, I'm sure you included Riyaale, who committed his fair share of hideous crimes.
