^^^^   Another outrageous lie. Do you honestly believe what you are saying or are you just seeking a reaction? WTH has that video got to do with segregation? it could be a cultural dance which may seem alien to you, but perfectly normal to them.

Also since you dodged this question earlier, what do you propose? free and open mixing between the sexes in order to overcome this 'epidemic of homosexuality in the gulf states'.

Also I have given the Islamic view on this issue based on quran and hadith, which is what my view is based on. How is you opinion formulated or justified? are you saying the Islamic point of view is incorrect? if so why.

Edit- I may come across as argumentative, but i feel obliged to take a stand against these lies.

That is not a cultural dance, it is not a Khaliji dance and their men dont dance like that. You are telling me that you did not find strange that grown up men were taking pics of this guy on their mobile. I have not mentioned homosexuality but unatural behaviour. I have not dodged a question and already mentioned my proposal, Saudi's rules on segregation is beyond what Islam requires. They need to allow free mixing in the public sphere ie lift restriction on women entering government buildings, not deny women jobs because of rules relating to mixing etc. Yes i think strict segregation from a very young age has a role in the number of young men experimenting with gay sex, but its not the only single factor.

As a piece of advise, if you disagree with someone, it doesnt mean they are lying. The issue is not black or white, the truth is somewhere in the middle.

In an all male party, some of the men (usually the younger ones) take the role of the women, so they dance, walk and act like females. Strict repressive segregation will bring out unatural behaviour.

Well your opinion on rules relating to free mixing have no basis in the Quran and hadith.

Also posting weird videos and articles that have nothing to do with rules on segregation and free mixing, then claiming that they are a result of what Islam prescribes is baseless lies and i'll be first to call you out on it.

I disagree with loads of threads daily and never call them a liar, but when it indirectly acts as an insult to Islamic practices, then I take offence.

Dont mind leila, she is one twisted chick,I wouldnt bother that much about her,the video she posted is purely a propoganda one from shia perspective,if you can understand the title of the video it says(Look those saudi Makhnuudiin dancing, may curse be on them),I agree with you,it is a weird video and a very weak way to score a silly point, but hey, what do you expect from a woman who brags about being nailed by a jamaican Negro! Nothing absolutely nothing.!

Nobleman, I don’t think you fully understand the point Leila is making. She is not saying that the hadith in saying that men and women should be kept segregated is wrong. She’s merely pointing out to the fact that, occasionally strict Islamic societies can fall into the more sinister alternatives of seeking pleasure.

I have always believed (and still do) that homosexuality is learned behaviour. In fact, the Quran even says “You people (people of luut) – Practice you’re lust on those who are the same gender” – essentially gay people pick up deviant sexual routes as a form of pleasure.

In the ideal Islamic world men and women are kept apart to avoid zina… You said this yourself. And everyone agrees.

"Rasulullah (SAW) explained: If one of you were to be stabbed in the head with a piece of iron it would be better for him than if he were to touch a woman whom it is not permissible for him to touch."

The hadiths like these ones illustrate the importance of avoidance of zina. It indicates that any man who is willing to avoid temptation for the sake of allah is therefore worthy of the reward of allah. Its more symbolic then literal. It not saying that if you slip and touch a female, you must then be stabbed in the head, bleed 2death and die. That’s absurd.

In the Quran Allah clearly says that “Indeed mankind Is weak” – “Each soul shall sin and those who repent sincerely, Allah is most merciful” …… It is inscribed in our nature to be imperfect and in an imperfect world, measures must be taken to rectify as much errors as possible. Now yes, if every person is a good Muslim and practiced Islam fully then men and women would not mingle and would not be free mixing. But everyone knows this is not a perfect Islamic world, its reality. And the reality is people will sin. Furthermore they will sin a lot.

Now let’s get to the science part …. The meaning of word behaviour can be regarded as any action of an organism (including humans) that changes its relationship to its environment. Did you get that ? ….. Perhaps read it again. Actions of people that changes its relationship to its environment…. So if there’s a complete absence of females, its only natural for males to then act in regards to that. You agree with that right ? …. – Lets take prison for example. I was watching this documentary about prison inmates who wore a headscarf and eyeliner and blush. They walked the hallways of the prison centre with one arm on their hips and sashayed down to their rooms. I like many other people assumed these men were simply gay. It turned out that they were heterosexual men, who had wives and some with kids even that were essentially feminized by other inmates. Years of this practice eventually lead them to become gay. You see, for a lot of men, demasculinisation of other males only over-emasculates their ego.

In many Arab Muslim countries and you ask their local men what Gay is. – They will reply and say it’s the male who *bends-over* that’s gay. If you ask them about the male who initiates the sex (uses penis) they shrug their shoulders and say… well he’s not that gay.
WTH has that video got to do with segregation? it could be a cultural dance which may seem alien to you, but perfectly normal to them.
I hope your not serious… ?

Cus any normal person knows a young boy shaking his hips and dancing like a belly dancer infront of an all male audience is abnormal. And for an individual to even THINK it’s a cultural dance is insane as far as I’m concerned. Leila was giving you prove of how older men who were completely isolated from females lash out by feminizing younger innocent boys.

I hope Ive knocked some sense into you.

Oxy aka leila

I think u have NO DOUBT proven the existance of child molestation in arabia. But u have not proven that Islam has something to do with this. What is in question here is the arab culture, which now having watched this video, i am inclined to compare it to Greek culture. After all, greeks are the inventor of homosexuality and child molestation,

Oxy i disagree with u on a FUNDAMENTAL arguement: That is homosexuality is a learned beahavior disorder. I DONT THINK SO!!! Homosexuality is genetics. Even watching these videos, u can argue this little belly dancing boys were naturally born--effeminate and useless. NO normal testosterone boy can wiggle his lil hips no matter how much influence from the adult perverts.U can argue-arab society for 'understanding' young effeminacy in boys, even encouraging it. So basically, although the arab culture is to blame for this wrong and disturbing tolerance of child effeminacy and it is NOT responsible for fostering the increase of homosexuality in this prescribed arabic society. Like i said before, homosexuality is a human condition, it is equally seen in all human society. The frequency and overt open-ness of it, depends on the specific society in question. :|

Gee...... :? Why do i sound sooooooooooooooooooooo smart.
