Nobleman, I don’t think you fully understand the point Leila is making. She is not saying that the hadith in saying that men and women should be kept segregated is wrong. She’s merely pointing out to the fact that, occasionally strict Islamic societies can fall into the more sinister alternatives of seeking pleasure.
I have always believed (and still do) that homosexuality is learned behaviour. In fact, the Quran even says
“You people (people of luut) – Practice you’re lust on those who are the same gender” – essentially gay people pick up deviant sexual routes as a form of pleasure.
In the ideal Islamic world men and women are kept apart to avoid zina… You said this yourself. And everyone agrees.
"Rasulullah (SAW) explained: If one of you were to be stabbed in the head with a piece of iron it would be better for him than if he were to touch a woman whom it is not permissible for him to touch."
The hadiths like these ones illustrate the importance of avoidance of zina. It indicates that any man who is willing to avoid temptation for the sake of allah is therefore worthy of the reward of allah. Its more symbolic then literal. It not saying that if you slip and touch a female, you must then be stabbed in the head, bleed 2death and die. That’s absurd.
In the Quran Allah clearly says that
“Indeed mankind Is weak” – “Each soul shall sin and those who repent sincerely, Allah is most merciful” …… It is inscribed in our nature to be imperfect and in an imperfect world, measures must be taken to rectify as much errors as possible. Now yes, if every person is a good Muslim and practiced Islam fully then men and women would not mingle and would not be free mixing. But everyone knows this is not a perfect Islamic world, its reality. And the reality is people will sin. Furthermore they will sin a lot.
Now let’s get to the science part …. The meaning of word
behaviour can be regarded as any action of an organism (including humans) that changes its relationship to its environment. Did you get that ? ….. Perhaps read it again. Actions of people that changes its relationship to its environment…. So if there’s a complete absence of females, its only natural for males to then act in regards to that. You agree with that right ? …. – Lets take prison for example. I was watching this documentary about prison inmates who wore a headscarf and eyeliner and blush. They walked the hallways of the prison centre with one arm on their hips and sashayed down to their rooms. I like many other people assumed these men were simply gay. It turned out that they were heterosexual men, who had wives and some with kids even that were essentially feminized by other inmates. Years of this practice eventually lead them to become gay. You see, for a lot of men, demasculinisation of other males only over-emasculates their ego.
In many Arab Muslim countries and you ask their local men what Gay is. – They will reply and say it’s the male who *bends-over* that’s gay. If you ask them about the male who initiates the sex (uses penis) they shrug their shoulders and say… well he’s not that gay.
WTH has that video got to do with segregation? it could be a cultural dance which may seem alien to you, but perfectly normal to them.
I hope your not serious… ?
Cus any normal person knows a young boy shaking his hips and dancing like a belly dancer infront of an all male audience is abnormal. And for an individual to even
THINK it’s a cultural dance is insane as far as I’m concerned. Leila was giving you prove of how older men who were completely isolated from females lash out by feminizing younger innocent boys.
I hope Ive knocked some sense into you.
