1..if you wear a suit or even just normal shoes, jeans etc, and you speak with an adopted accent, people will say your Ilbax ?? they will literately be convinced and pass it on to the next person.
2…also, if you wear arabic garments, cimaamad, or even just a simple qamiis and goofiyat, and you say words like Akhi, Yacni, etc simple words, people will say your Wadaad??
3…then comes the Somali, if you wear macwiis, your shaati, and sandals, and speak with a slight somali accent people will say WHAT A DUMB DUMB REER BAADIYO ??? wtf
this is bothering me, the summer is coming and i want to be wearing my new Macawiis, sandals etc but i don't want to endure all these disgruntled looks.
Basically I think we need to revive our identity, like hold a big party through out the globe, where you can only wear Somali cloths ! like every YEAR.
