CLASH OF CIVILIZATIONS OR AN ALLIANCE OF CIVILIZATIONS?

After the attacks in New York, Bali, Madrid, London, Egypt. After this painful invassion of Iraq in the name of freedom and in the name of Weapons of Massive Destruction conducted by Saddam Hussein and Bush's propaganda. After all those insanities we are watching from all sides (Bush being the president of United States again, Bin Laden being a heroe for some kind of muslims; Western people being hated because they're Western people; Muslim people being hated because they're muslims), I think: are we going to a clash of civilizations or we need an alliance of civilizations?

I mean with this: My questions.

1) Who supports the bombings in Baghdad killing hundreds and hundreds of innocent victims?

2) Who supports the Israeli policy of killing Palestinians in order to stop terrorism?

3) Who supports the attacks against Twin Towers people in New York?

4) Who supports that the so-called "sharia" allows women to be stoned to death in a case of adultery?

5) Who supports Guantanamo's tortures and procedures?

6) Who supports the beheadings of civilians in Iraq by Al Qaeda supporters?

7) Who supports the bombings in London or Madrid with a great number of casualties?

Cool Who supports the next plans of USA of invading new countries in the Middle East in order to make the zone more secure? Iran is the next target of USA.

9) Who thinks here that muslims are fanatics?

10) Who thinks here that Western people are anti-muslim fanatics?

Those are my questions. In my own test, I said NO all the time.

Test yourselves, and you will find out that the reply is NO, except with the fanatics from both sides.

I'm not a muslim. This is not a clash. Probably this is an alliance. The alliance of reasonable people against the fanatics of all sides.

This is my wish.

I'm against Bush. I hope to read some people here being against Bin Laden's policy and hate in the name of Islam.

Apologizes here in the name of the Western world.

ill answer NO for all except 4, and 9. shari'ah is shari'ah. never will sameerah make excuses or apologise for that.

there is most def. a feeling of anti Islam, so yes, anti-Muslim fanatics do exist but not all Westerners (Muslims can be Westerners too dammit) are anti-Islam.

For 9, you think Muslims ARE fanatics?

Under no circumstances should women be stoned for committing adultery. Do men get stoned for committing adultery? Barabaric bullshyt.

It is still wrong. The only thing worthy of being stoned to death is murder, maybe rape and cruel and inhumane torture.

To my knowledge, the cases where prophet Mohamed (pbuh) stoned for adultery either relate to before the verse on flogging was revealed; or they were applied in the case of Jews who insisted that the laws of Moses in the Torah be applied to them.

Here's what the Quran says: An abrogation:

[24:2-3] The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by God, if ye believe in God and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.

Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry and but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever: nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden.

If you kill adulterers and fornicators, how can they marry each other?

In Sharia (note that most is derived from Ijma, consensus of the schlars)cases of adultery, the punishment meted out by the spouse and disruption of the stability of the family will become the additional punishment. There is no need to prescribe what Allah swt hasn't. Our Holy Prophet Mohamed pbuh followed the Qur'an; so should we.
