sxb its just a copycat stuff as all Somalis do.

My father's uncles were in the trucking business and thats why he ended up being a truckie. He even worked in East Africa for many years.

I have many uncles who are truckies throughout East Africa as we speak but the transport industry is getting outdated. Some of them realised this and are getting into the Pertol Stations/ Real State sector.

Just Curious how Come most people in Somalia were Working in either a Bank or the Military?

Not in Somalia but my dad never worked in Djibouti and his first Job was with Bombardier aerospace in Montreal and my mother Worked for Bell Canada until 1991 when they relocated to the US.
