Popped mine in the mail box this morning on my way out.

Get counted people & make sure you put in 'Somali' after crossing off 'Black' regarding race (#9). U.S.D.CE.S.A. allocates a special bracket for every 10,000 ethnic group members in the country and the U.S.D.A. awards special funds & programs for all ethnic groups totaling more than a specific percentage. Leaving just black as a race means you're being counted as African American. Differentiate yourself from the AA's and make history.

To be honest with euro somalis it works both ways, some of the biggest ciyaal suugs i know are reer holland, but some of the biggest sheikhs that never leave the masjid and work hard are also reer Holland. Only bad thing is more of us in the UK and were more visible, so when one bad thing happens then they magnify it.

Laakin I can imagine the tabloid headlines in 2011 after the census- 'Somali population in the UK increases 5 fold '

Those good folks have long been burried or whatever remains of them are holed up in some retirement homes waiting for their time. Today's generation don't give a shit about anyone but themselves and would rather associate themselves with Caucasians than have anything to do with Africans. They're a lost cause for the most part, except for a few who still have some of the same zeal their ancestors did. They don't need our numbers and we don't need to associate with them either.

they have one for Somali ? i knew of Black African and Black British. we fit into both since we came both very early and very recently, so whats the need for a Somali one

Yh, illegals have a phobia about any legal documents and their figures are never really accurate, experts estimate for every Hispanic/Latino that is accounted for, there are atleast 2-3 that go unaccounted, which means they are the largest non-white group in the U.S., even out-numbering whites in some states like California.

The Census is every 10 years and it will be a logistical nightmare to do it the way you suggest, not to mention a budgetary pain. These days they send people the forms and attach an already stamped envelope for a quick return. They hire thousands of seasonal employees that then do the actual counting and stuff.
