Somaliland is a sovereign country. How do you ask one country to host the capital city of another country?

something doesnt add up. one minute they want to be recognised as a seperate country, with its own flag and capital city, dragging the bloody Somaliland name everywhere, the next they want to move our Capital city to theirs!!! i dont get where stupidity meets logic.

there is no city equal to xamar. moving capital will not solve anything except that the newcapital is hitted with suicideattacks and so on.

I support the relocation of the capital too the nort or anything but xamar, hobyo in my opinion would be great location, historically hobyo was equal to xamar or even greater at times

I agree and I have been saying this for years. Hobyo because it is on the ocean. Hobyo because that region could use the development and investment. Hobyo so habargedir moryans can flock back to their original lands. So Hobyo should be the capital. And I agree Hargaisa is a foreign nation.

Only Puntland deserves the capital.

Not animals like the south and not bitches like the north. The only Somalis staying true to Somalinimo, whilst making sure the Somalis live in peace and prosperity no matter what their tribal or ethnic background is.

Unfortunately some people bleed in their underwear when they hear the name Puntland.

Why doesnt Puntland change its name to Somalia, and say 'When you're done, you can join', that way we can say in the interim that there's a functioning govt
