As promised I would share them with you:

Y-chromosomial DNA haplogroup is J2 (M172). Sadly only found in less than 1% of all tested Somalis so far making me a major langaab in the Somali clan system. For the layman this is a marker mostly carried by Northern Middle Easterners (including Jews) but rarely found in Arabians. I’m not paternally related to the prophet either as I don’t have J1 – it’s cousin marker.

Next, my mitochondrial DNA haplogroup is H, again a Middle Eastern/Central Asian marker.

I’m really depressed about this stuff because it makes me a langaab in genetic terms in Somalia. I really hoped for E3b / E1b1b, the fierce Somali marker.
