La Trobe is actually not bad.. some Courses require TER of 90+ but VU is just rubbish.

La Trobe is quite a good Uni. I think it comes fourth in Melbourne. After Melb,Monash than RMIT

VU is mainly for Western Suburbs students. They don't have great teachers or school, and get the marks to go there. Like Northern Suburbs students mainly go to La Trobe.

VU has a good nursing school. It also has foundation studies, for those who want to do a degree.

But RMIT is better in Engineering courses.

Latrobe is a leader in Humanities/Health science more so than Melbourne and Monash even...Apparently they have the biggest Campus in the southern hemisphere.
