Hangadh,
Shariif thinks he can outsmart Reer Waamo. What makes the Alshabab in Kismaayo different from the ones in Muqdisho. As a matter of fact the their strong hold is Kismaayo and I would have recommended that Kismaayo should be liberated before Xamar from the Alshabaab thugs. Strategically that would make more sense. Right now the TFG and their Dameer leader is sarrounded but if Kismaayo is liberated then they can have link to Xamar.

The Hutus kids here don't understand that. They think Absame saying no means not fighting for Hawiye-led Somali cause. That is not the case. The elders said they support the goverment but bringing troops all the way from J/hoose to Xamar doesn't make any sense.

sharif is retarded sometimes, striking the heart of the oppenent is much more potent than head which is based in muqdisho, to pacify alshabaab. They must strike Jubbaland FIRST.

Kenya is barred from intervening in Somalia by a UN resolution, but I guess that didn't stop Ethiopia and Ethiopia was never sanctioned for their invasion.

James,
The Kenyans can support the trained Somali forces at the border. Either way the Alshabaabs would claim that it is the Kenyans attacking so why not tacitly support the Somali militias at the border and assist them in taking over Jubbooyinka. I think it would be a major blow to the Alshabab killers if they are kicked out of the J/hoose.

I have heard these news reports of ''kenyan-trained Somali troops'' reconquering Kismanyo and Jubba regions for a long time, it is time for them to show us some action or just sit out this conflict.

The same applies for the ''troops'' been trained in Doolow, 2 years preparing and still achieved nothing.

Be more like Galgaduud and Mogadishu: never be defeated, but fight till the end.
