The ugliest regions in Somalia

Postby paidmonk » Fri Apr 09, 2010 7:57 pm

Mudug & Galguduud, flat ugly red deserts. Also Waqoyi Galbeed, Sool and Togdheer, nasty reddish brown sand and rough terrain without any beauty. Best looking regions are Awdal, Nugaal and the tropical southern regions.

Lol

For your info Red sand for that matter most coloured sands are rich in metals like Iron ore, aluminium and othe4rs. If and when ore extraction reaches somali soil, wealth tends to transform a region from a desert into a paradise.
