Horta, why do some people write things on Snet that might, in their heads, make them seem smarter/superior than others when in reality its just a way of getting attention, which makes them look stupid?
Is this aimed at me?

Because if it is, just say my name; being passive-aggressive doesn't get you anywhere.

OliveOil,

I was dead serious but if you find it entertainment, it is all good.

However, Please just stop spying on older Somali men. What Dady tells you and what he does is kind of different when it comes individual level. dad might tell you should drink water and he might be drinking red red wine. And guess, it is all good!

Why should that embarrass you? You're acting like Somalia didn't have alcoholics back in their days. Do you think our generation invented alcohol? It's been around before you were born and Somalis used to get a lil tipsy back home too. . Believe it or not, they had clubs and prostitutes too! :o :o :o :o :o The only difference is they weren't jukin and twerkin and dropin it like its hot like our today's generation.

Girl, I never said that Somalia didn't have alcoholics back then...I just talked about the fact they were ALL Somali and in their Mid 40s. I could care less if they were in there twenties...its more sociallly "accepted" when younger generations drink but an old man abaayo waala yaab especially coming from a 100% Muslim nation....u understand where I am coming from now? :| :|

Walahi Mr. Youngfresh I totally agree with you. Its supposed to be the opposite! Hada its becoming more and more common with the older generation.

Laba bil ka hor nin baa Somalinimo the corner store ooga soo qaaday (which I will never do again)...ninkii was carrying a bottle of something in a brown paper bag. And of course, i figured it would only be a qamri

You were an accomplice to sakhraanimo? Maxaa kugu dhacay walaal

On the real though, even dumarka aren't safe from it. Wallahi I've seen a Somali lady oo caruur yar wadato at The Beer Store in my neighbourhood, LIVE like it's nothing. Maba qariyaan anymore. It was so weird seeing islaan Somali ah doing that patented islaamo running motion (which is more like a quick shuffle with their arms swinging, and they're really actually going no faster than someone who's walking normally ) towards the khamro.
An accomplice aa? I was just helping him as a Somali...laakiin waa maxay Sakhraanimo? Doesn't sound too good

Inaalilaahi wa inaa Ilaahay raajacuun
Laafyo iyo xarago ayeeba ku tagaayaan the qamri store :o

Yup dumarka even...war umadeena way baloowday...hada gargaar xataa wax uma taraayo! Its sad really.

One time this chick tried to drag me to a wine tasting event...and she was the first to be deleted from my phone list
thats why we need to establish an islamic state ruled by the islamic shariica in Somalia..and our people will continue to be 100% muslims..the one's from the west cant travel back home and bring back their filth.

Waxaas waa caadi. Theres a "Somali Bar" in Downtown DC, Where You'll see even habaraha with a table with some booze. A couple of friends dragged Me one time to just check the place out, and We just sat in the coerner and Had shah and doolsho..Some fat Somali kid comes to one of My friends and says "Saaxib hoo lacagtaan qaado juice ii soo gad"...My friend told Him "War intaan adi juice ku soo gadi lahaa maan aniga naftigay cabo?

I used to be shocked When I would walk into Somali houses and see folks with 6 packs in the fridge, laakin later I came to find out drinking was perfectly normal in Somalia back in the day

I went with three of my girl friends to Applebees...waxay yahiin a Moroccon, an Algerian, and a Korean....of course 2 muslims and christian weeyaan. Laakiin the Christian one is very much interested about Islam and knows a lot about it. So while we were there, we saw like 6-7 older Somali men in their late 30s to mid 40s at the bar section drinking

Walahi waan isku yaxyaxay :x
hadii aad yaxyaxaysid, why did you go to Applebees where they serve alcohol in the fisrt place, nayaa Mukurka iska dhaaf

LoL @ Mike's Hard Lemonade...you picked a beverage with "hard" in it to appear khatar, when word on the street is, you sip non-alcoholic Piña Colada with islaamo cadaan ah at the local bingo hall, and then wander around downtown keligaa randomly flashing people
