I am going along, but got family that will be waiting at the airport for me, I don't even know how they look like.Get out of your comfort zone
Things might be a lil slow at first but become a local, do what they do and you should be fine.
Always travel with someone that knows the area before you get ripped off!

Read from a U.N report that Galkayo Water was the best in the country, so I think I will be good in that department. My sis who never saw Somalia travelled there couple of years ago and she loved it![]()
PS: Pple often get sick from the water so a word of advice take your water from where you live now

The pills are scaring me bro, why would I need Diarrhea and Malaria Pills?Get your vaccinations
Diarrhea pills
Malaria pills
Sunscreen
No brand/designer clothes, you will stick out. Try neutral stuff.
Don’t bring along your new Iphone, bring an old phone instead – as people are going to ask you to give it to them as a gift when you leave.
Hmm…those are the essentials

Thanks for the tips your truly an expert in this field. You should open a travel agency or something. You will definitely need Diarrhea (just in case you get ill) and Malaria Pills (everyday).
Even in dry areas such as Puntland there are some cases of Malaria, especially in towns with sewers.
Just don’t wear brand clothes, you will stick out like a sore thumb, everybody will immediately know your from abroad even strangers. Just wear normal looking non-brand clothes.
