Love the Limericks PB!
There once was a dirty old man
Who once got sent to the can
For young girls he did like
Yet to his delight
Got used to his cell mates hand.
There once was a girl from gedo
Who was an ilbax not a badow
She walked into a shoe shop alone
Whilst talking on her mobile phone
And brazenly ordered qado

Looool you calling me a badow waraa
There was once was a man named PB
Who needed adab desperately
For he liked to act mean
Writing lyrics of scenes
OF his very own ignominy
We should start a Limerick thread

Lol @ You should. I shall, in exactly 3 hours inshaAllah! My primary school still has a limerick I wrote when I was 11 hanging up on the wall...I think they are the only poem I can write. You're not too bad either, screw these people and their detailed poetry

It's the best form too. We live in a fast world, dear. Who has the time to read a long poem? Haiku and limerick are the order of the day.
There was once a country in the horn
By war and destruction it was torn
Her children became refugees
And carried the fight through their pcs
Who, by the way, are teeming with porn

Lol @ 'by the way'! Great limerick for snet, should be a sticky!
Ill continue your theme:
There once was a site for fugees
Who gave me the heeby jeebies
They were bullish and rude
and the girls were such prudes
That creepy old site for fugees

Current affairs time..
There was a young man called paidmonk
Who everyone thought was a punk
He’s twenty-years-old
But is probably going bald
From masturbating and playing with spunk

Thoughts on the L Train:
They've stopped looking for love
No longer victims of deceit,
being lured in by captivating eyes
willingly surrendering their souls for sin;
A burning sensation of physical need
masked as romantic bliss
They unveil only to see their bodies exploding
Birthing tears of redemption
Possessed by a feeling they so desire
they step into the open blindly
with books bearing the only example of a happy home
for her mother laid alone,
little girls roam with broken muscles
pelvic pains and a shattered heart
measuring love by the depth the ceeb could reach.
Little boys dig deep between brown legs
searching for love they've never found at their mother's feet
he brands his pain with every thrust,
so her moans serve as mementos
anger breeds hatred,
dictating his daughter's path through her mother's hurt

Dear:
With this pen I eject my heart on a piece of paper
Release held-captive feelings in the form of ink
For my lips are sealed censored and silenced
With the blood in my veins I begin to write:
I have subdued my soul
so as to not fall victim to my heart
And if my heart was allowed to speak
it would burst open and bleed
With a soundless cry it would plea
why me?
I have lived by mind of matter
but on this matter
I have lost my mind
My heart has gone blind
I begin to utter calaf to deaf ears
That can only hear your voice
And at the sound of it
I am unable of speech
Out of fear I begin to speak
Dreadful of sounds heard in silence
The thumbing of my heart:
If given the chance to love
I would love all night
till the sun interrupts the moon
And every second of the day
Until the sight of sunset besides you
The absence of you has made my heart go astray
I have no choice left but to kneel and pray
I must succumb to sanity
come to terms with reality
And end this poetry
I end this
Censored love and seal it with a kiss.
