Remember that video of Somali reer mudug teaching reer Maay Af-Soomaali, it was a play as Voltage pointed out. We got punked big time. The reer-mudug sounding teacher is Eelaay after all:

The message in the video is far from "just a play". I lived in Baydhabo for about 4 years and I have witnessed from the first acount how Maay speakers were treated. They were seen as inferior just becuase the spoke Maay.
Maay speakers are the most friendly somalis you will ever come across. They have one of the most beautiful and hardworking women you can find anywhere in Somalia.

Nolol Cusub, I agree with you...they really are friendly I go to school with some of them and MashAllah waa dad qalbi furan! And very attractive as well
But who said anyone of these people is a Reer Mudug? That person must be slow
