The family come from a poor farmer background, and all his nine children graduated from college and all of them are managers and doctors and professors. plus they are religious. its the pay off of hardwork, honesty and positivity, while all these other African Americans are saying the system is keeping them down and blaming whites.

1/There's more than 2 families like that in the US
2/All people should be like that .If most people were put through what the African American community has endured ...well I think I would have been dead by now .
I get the jist of what you wanna say , but you NEED to work on how to better communicate your message .

the system is keeping them down and white are responsible for enslaving their forefathers, but you right in the sense that they should not waste generation with all this dwelling in the past and insecurity.
Somalis should learn from this, even though we didnt experience anything like the African Americans we are like some of them dwelling in the past. the sad thing about Somalis is we fight over very miniscule things and do not even regret it.

It doesn't even inspire you, 9 children from a poor background, all holding PHD and Bachelors from good Ivy league colleges? are you that shallow that you don't even think that deep? Are you inspired only by Somalis and not the human exprience?

This is why African Americans experience so much social problems. Many of them don't have a strong family behind them like these individuals did. Hence, why African migrants do much better than them in America. Africans have culture and somewhere to belong always, while many AA don't. Most successful people always had a family behind them
