What goes around comes around. England stole the world cup in 1966 after they were given a goal that shouldn't have been a goal and today they were denied a goal that should have been a goal. In my opinion that bad decision maybe is the reason why England lost the game. Momentum might have swung in England's way if the goal was allowed. Having said that, Germany were the better team today and every time they attacked they looked to expose England's defence. I didn't care who won this game since i don't like both England and Germany's style of football but i wanted England to lose the game more than i wanted Germany to lose it mainly because i don't want a single Italian cunt (Fabio Capello) to find success in football. They are the #1 enemy of jogo bonito football.

Hopefully now Germany will do the same or even worse to Argentina, that is if Argentina get past Mexico later today.

Losing momentum after Lampard's goal is a rubbish excuse, they gained momentum after Upson's goal and were all over Germany. Germany simply made the most out of an atrocious defence, no words to describe how bad the defence was really. The players and Capello both to blame.

England fans are the most loyal and resilient fans. Every world cup they show up in more numbers than any other country in the world only to see their mediocre team get crushed before they reach even the semifinal stage. Motherfuckers never give up faith thinking they have a strong team that is capable of winning the world cup when in reality they sometimes show up on the field looking like Cameroon or Nigeria

Laila

Your Argentina will be the next team that Germany kicks out.

The Germans themselves cant believe how easy it was for them, Germany had so much space because the gap between the English defenders was so wide, Glen Johnson was dismal, he never won a tackle, easily lost the ball and slow when chasing. That was not a team, just individual players who didnt know what they were doing. They lost because they were lost.

The Germans will face real contenders, the skill of Messi will carry us through. The young Germans will and can onyl watch and learn from Argentina.

there was no pace in the team 4-2-3-1 was rapin 4-4-2

that fuckin fag Capello.. all he had to do was..tell Shrek to play like a flippin NUMBER 10.. you cant have two number 9's :x

All Rooney had to do was play in front of the fat twins (Fat Frank and Fat Gareth) my ayeeyo is faster than both of them but that would've stopped the Germans from playin :x

One thing i agree with you is that Germany did not beat England because they were good, but because England were really bad.

And i am not saying Germany will beat Argentina (that is if they beat mexico) because i believe they are stronger than Argentina but today's big win is a morale booster for them.

England lost because they played shit, simple. There are no excuses, that disallowed goal certainly isn't one. England lost 4-1 not 2-1, so I don't even see why lampard's disallowed goal is even an issue. If you score a goal and it isn't allowed that doesn't give you a reason lose the match, especially a resounding loss. I said it before and I'll say it again, England are mediocre at best. Even with their best team (2002 world cup) they didn't do sht. Well done Germany, I hope to see more good play from Mesut Özil.

If you analyse all the top world teams and teams that win their tournaments, there are certain attributes they all have and this what makes them successful. Some of the attributes include: 1. central midfielders who keep the ball, 2. An attacking player who can unlock teams with delicate and clever moves, be it through balls or running with the ball. 3.Destructive players that can harrass the opposition and run back whenLook at the england midfield

1. Gerrard
2. Lampard
3. Milner
4. Barry

All of them are nearly of the same mould and nearly all of them lack real pace. The only difference we can say is that Gerrard is a better dribbler and has more pace than the others. The problem with such a line up is that none of those players are particularly great at keeping the ball in tight positions or making the opposition work. Another problem of the above line is the lack of any pace when the opposing team is launching counter attacks. Often times, Gerrard is caught out of position, Lampard is too slow in getting back and Barry simply isn't a real defensive midfielder . He is also too slow, as I have already mentioned. Sometimes he does well, but he doesn't get help from Lampard and Gerrard, which means that Barry is often left chasing two or three men from the opposition midfield. A consequence of this is that the opposition have an easy route to the england defence( as we witnessed in the macth today.

As a result of the aformentioned problems, England are always either chasing the opposition or trying to rush the ball and score. This is why you hear the pundits say, " england must play the premiership way". I certainly believe this is precisely the problem: it is impossible to play the premiership way in the world cup, at least not all the time. Their needs to be periods where you just keep the ball and make the oppositon work. Spain do this very well; so do Brazil; so do Argentina; and, of course, most of the other great teams. The great teams also have central midfielders who can stay focused and unlock defenses at the great time, even if they are losing or if they haven't any luck in the game. Too often in this tournament, Gerrard and Lampard chose the wrong passes or tried to be to heroic. The lad Ozil is a wonderful demonstration of having balance in your play. At times he just holds up the play. Then another time you will see him shoot from range. England attempt to start most of their games by playing the so called fast tempo game". However, it doesn't trouble most. teams, and when England don't get an early goal, they start rushing the passes, trying to play ball hollywood long balls to the strikers and rooney, the main striker, comes far too deep or too wide.
