Israel hasn't changed really since the 1960s in their policies, but the world has changed and people can't just turn a blind eye anymore.

The old generation of Israelis is dying off though, and the younger generation is eager to live in peace with the Palestinians, so I think there's hope that one day the walls will come down and Palestinians will be able to return to their villages and olive orchards.

It is my belief that the solution is not two states Israel and Palestine, with a big wall between the two, that's South Africa and the "Bantustans" all over again. One state, Israel-Palestine, where both can live together in peace, Jew, Christian and Muslim, Hebrew and Arab.
