Com on if the horn is so good that people cross huge deserts to come and settle, why bantus didnt come?
Or they did come and and their contribution to the horn gene pool is down played!

Probably there were no gene inflow from arabia or egypt!
Or if it arab/egypt inflow existed, bantu inflow existed too.

There is no geographical barriers between the horn and Bantu proper lands; wat witheld bantus from coming?

B.
European Journal of Human Genetics (advance online publication)
"The time of the eastbound Bantu expansion was estimated to be 3400±1100 years ago.24 Bantu populations have high frequencies of E3a haplogroups.4 We have observed only a few individuals with the E3a haplogroup in our Somali population, thus, supporting the view that the Bantu migration did not reach Somalia.42 It has been suggested that a barrier against gene flow exist in the region.43 The barrier seems to be the Cushitic languages and cultures to which Somalis belongs. The Cushitic languages belong to the Afro-Asiatic languages that are spoken in Northern and Eastern Africa. The Cushitic languages and cultures are mainly found in the Somalis and the Oromos, one of the two main groups inhabiting Ethiopia.44, 45, 46. The Somali and Oromo languages have a high degree of similarity and the two populations share many cultural characteristics. The Somali and Oromo people live in clans with special patterns of marriage and the Somali and Oromo people have complex, interwoven pedigrees.44, 45"

What hassan? the guy that is in the link?
I think we are just cousins because they are Somalis, I doubt there is any other relationship closer than that. any Somalis will match any Somalis, as they all 99.99999 percent match.

I spot two different mutations from Ironman

He isn’t related to him for at least over 1000 to 2000 years. 1 mutation is acceptable but 2 or more isn't really closely related on a 12 marker comparison

Yes, definitely. You guys might have the same haplogroup but not the same haplotype

Your fathers split off around 1000 to 2000 years ago.

You are closely related to these two guys:

Warsame 1
http://www.ysearch.org/lastname_view.as ... =Q7EPD&p=0

Warsame 2
http://www.ysearch.org/lastname_view.as ... =QZQJ9&p=0

Perhaps they are relatives?

They are two different people, look at the names of ancestors.

So you are different at only 1 from them? Probably related to them from 500 to 800 years then...
